Telecký, Vojtěch ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis deals with aerodynamic forces and their influence on body position and ride comfort due changes in wheel loads. Simulation was made in computer program ADAMS (MSC Software TM).
Experimental methodology of measuring
Lojková, Lea ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
This work is focused on the development of a thorough study about ISO standards focused on the vehicle dynamics, standardized tests of vehicle dynamics and measured variables that allow us to describe and model the behaviour of riding vehicles properly. In the Appendix A of the thesis, there is a list of all known ISO standards dealing with given topic. The standard ISO 15037-1 Road vehicles – Vehicle dynamics test methods, Part 1: General conditions for passenger cars is described in detail, including the forms for test reports and the Appendix C and D. In the thesis, there is also described a model of minimal needed measuring system that is still in good accordance with the standard ISO 15037-1 and fulfills all its requirements. Detailed description of all used sensors that are used to measure required variables is given, as well as a short description of all sensors that are used for measurement of other variables. After that, measurement abilities of the instrumentation of measuring system RIO used in ÚADI FSI Brno is compared and confronted with requirements given by the standard, to see, if all given criteria are properly fulfilled. Because of the fact that standard-given criteria are quite mild, while the equipment of the faculty is high-level technology, mostly made directly for measuring of dynamic parameters of the vehicles, including racing vehicles, the system is in full accordance with the standard ISO 15037-1.
Analytical Methods in Motorsport
Růžička, Bronislav ; Dočkal, Aleš (referee) ; Čejka, Václav (referee) ; Karpíšek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
This dissertation is focused on proposal for simplified data analyze approach for sport-car vehicle dynamic evaluation with relationship to possibility for qualified estimation of set-up parameters influence for overall vehicle performance. In common practice can be usual overlapping effect caused by concurrent changes of car setup elements if performed in the same moment with resulting in not correct or hardly definable process determination for evaluation and decision about next steps in car development. For analyze of these multidimensional data is then chosen process with approach by Linear Regression Model (LRM). In dissertation is proposed basic philosophy with concern on specificity of car vehicle dynamics, performed experiment with defined inputs including analyze and interpretation method of obtained outputs. This methodic take into account also possibility for general application of multidimensional data analyses not only in motorsport, but as well for dynamic behavior diagnostics of technical systems where finding of optimal running condition depends on multi-parametric setup whose combination must reflect often changes of outer conditions too.
Time minimization for vehicles passing a given trajectory
Suja, Jerguš ; Mauder, Tomáš (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with vehicle movement dynamics and defining a theoretical model for software simulation of vehicle passing a given trajectory, while main aim is time minimization driving mode. Simulation (algorithm for computing speed profile) is then applicated for passing experimental vehicle along Masaryk circuit in Brno. At the end, we optimize chosen vehicle parameters with derivate-free algorithms Multilevel Coordinate Search and Particle Swarm.
Influence of Vehicle Conception on Vehicle Dynamics
Hamada, Filip ; Belák, Michal (referee) ; Bilík, Martin (advisor)
Diploma thesis speaks about the influence of vehicle conception on vehicle dynamics, which means how a vehicle behaves in certain typical situations with respect to its driving axle. The first part of this diploma thesis describes the historical background of vehicles, as well as their conceptions and evolutions, with special focus on the conceptions used in the practical element of this work. The second part of this thesis covers the theoretical knowledge of vehicle dynamics and is arranged in a systematic order corresponding to the third section of this work. The third and final chapter then investigates various vehicle conceptions and their dynamics, by running several tests and measurements, in order to make a comparison. This comparison is the main purpose of this work, and from this we can then elucidate which conception, in a certain aspect, is practically more appropriate.
Visualisation of telemetric data
Kolář, Michael ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
The main aim of this bachelor thesis was the creation of an application in the Unity engine, which would enable real-time rendering of a vehicle and its suspension components. The positions and rotations of the individual parts are governed by the data that originate from the Matlab application based on simulation or real measurement.
The Use of Virtual Reality in Vehicle Dynamics
Mach, Břetislav ; Zháňal, Lubor (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this master’s thesis is to use virtual reality to analyze and display the vehicle and the quantities characterizing the dynamic properties of the vehicle. The simulation software tools are used Matlab/Simulink and Virtual Reality Toolbox. The measured or calculated data will the input for the simulation. The dissertation is aimed to create a virtual scene and a dynamic system for the movement of file.
Tyres and Vehicle Dynamics
Kusyn, Petr ; Porteš, Petr (referee) ; Molliková, Eva (advisor)
Objective of this bachelor thesis is mainly the familiarization with factors, that affect vehicle dynamics and the explanation how are these factors reflected in the requirement on the construction of tyres. Another parts are dedicated to the construction itself and properties of the tyre and also to the tyre models, which become essential part in the development of new constructions and materials during manufacturing of the tyres.
Design Study of Highway Electrical Passenger Car
Přikryl, Karel ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
This thesis deals with design concept of the electric car. At first, vehicle dynamics was solved in program MathCad. The components were selected from the obtained results. This was followed by a proposal layout design and vehicles main dimensions design. The frame was created in program ProEngineer, and then imported into ANSYS. Simulation of torsional rigidity was made in ANSYS by FEM.
Impact of Chosen Chassis Electronic Systems on Driving Dynamics of a Vehicle
Schejbal, Jan ; Hlávka, Stanislav (referee) ; Vémola, Aleš (advisor)
This work deals with the impact of selected electronic chassis systems of modern vehicles, their driving dynamics. The general aim of this work is to create the basic methodology for assessing casualties of the influence of these systems. The thesis is describing functions and effects antilock and stability systems on vehicle dynamics. Below are possible methods and systems for determining the influence on accident plot. As part of the study was performed measuring the impact of anti-lock system on the vehicle. The result of this work is the basic methodology to the analysis of road accidents involving vehicles with electronic chassis systems.
